​Wood-inc and the STRUCTUREZ Technique

Wood-inc utilizes the STRUCTUREZ technique, designed for both DIY enthusiasts and professional builders. This prefabricated building system emphasizes forward-thinking and actively involves construction partners from the concept phase.

STRUCTUREZ is a timber frame system featuring easily assembled and disassembled components with steel connection elements. The timber beams and columns are crafted from renewable resources, while the steel connections offer long-lasting durability and high-quality recycling potential. Inspired by a Japanese technique, these connections facilitate easy disassembly.

In collaboration with UHasselt, Wood-inc developed the Prefab Insulation Cassette—a prefabricated façade element focused on reuse, ease of assembly, and cost-efficient construction. This innovative product, patented in late 2019, is exclusive to Wood-inc, setting them apart in the market.
